چکیده
Among the most reliable techniques for exfoliation of two-dimensional (2D) layered materials, sonication-assisted liquid-phase (LPE) is considered as a cost-effective and straightforward method preparing graphene its 2D inorganic counterparts at reasonable sizes acceptable levels defects. Although there were rapid advances in this field, effect outcome sonication frequency are poorly understood often ignored, resulting low efficiency. Here, we demonstrate that simple mild bath higher power positively contributes to thickness, size, quality final exfoliated products. We show monolayer flakes can be directly from graphite using ethanol solvent by increasing 37 80 kHz. The statistical analysis shows ?77% measured have thickness below three layers with an average lateral size 13 ?m. approach works digenite (Cu9S5) silver sulfide (Ag2S), thus indicating technique applied other materials obtain high-quality few-layered flakes. This effective facilitates formation monolayer/few transition metal chalcogenides wide range applications.

Few‐Layer Antimonene by Liquid‐Phase Exfoliation
We report on a fast and simple method to produce highly stable isopropanol/water (4:1) suspensions of few-layer antimonene by liquid-phase exfoliation of antimony crystals in a process that is assisted by sonication but does not require the addition of any surfactant. This straightforward method generates dispersions of few-layer antimonene suitable for on-surface isolation. Analysis by atomic ...

15 صفحه اولToward Exploring the Structure of Monolayer to Few-layer TaS2 by Efficient Ultrasound-free Exfoliation
Tantalum disulfide nanosheets have attracted great interest due to its electronic properties and device applications. Traditional solution-ased ultrasonic process is limited by ultrasound which may cause the disintegration into submicron-sized flake. Here, an efficient multi-step intercalation and ultrasound-free process has been successfully used to exfoliate 1T-TaS2. The obtained TaS2 nanoshe...
متن کاملPreparation of Few-Layer Bismuth Selenide by Liquid-Phase-Exfoliation and Its Optical Absorption Properties
Bismuth selenide (Bi2Se3), a new topological insulator, has attracted much attention in recent years owing to its relatively simple band structure and large bulk band gap. Compared to bulk, few-layer Bi2Se3 is recently considered as a highly promising material. Here, we use a liquid-phase exfoliation method to prepare few-layer Bi2Se3 in N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone or chitosan acetic solution. The r...
متن کاملField emission from few-layer graphene nanosheets produced by liquid phase exfoliation of graphite.
Graphene nanosheets have been synthesized from commercial expandable graphite by heating in a microwave oven and dispersing in ethanol by ultrasonication. Scanning and transmission electron microscopy and electron energy-loss spectroscopy and atomic force microscope showed that the nanosheets were about 2 nm in thickness and 10 microm in diameter. The field emission of the graphene sheets has b...
